Job summary

YBI Recruiting is hiring an Equipment Mechanic on behalf of one of our manufacturing clients that builds and services equipment used across utilities, telecom, construction and infrastructure industries.

This hands-on role offers variety, a supportive team, and opportunities for overtime in a safety-focused environment. A high school diploma or GED is required, with background in heavy equipment repair and electrical/hydraulic systems advantageous.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as a mechanic or technician with heavy equipment repair.
• Hands-on experience with electrical and hydraulic systems a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair specialized heavy equipment used in power, telecom, and construction.
• Troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Prepare detailed service reports and maintain safety standards.
• Use manuals to identify parts and procedures; document work performed.
