Job summary

YBI Recruiting is hiring an Equipment Mechanic for a leading manufacturing client. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment used in power, telecom, and construction applications, focusing on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

You’ll generate detailed service reports, reference manuals, and ensure a safe, efficient work environment to meet customer timelines. This role offers hands-on problem solving, career growth opportunities, company-provided tools and vehicle

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as a mechanic or technician, with a background in heavy equipment repair.
• Hands-on experience with aerial devices, cranes, digger derricks, hydraulic systems, or similar machinery is a plus.
• Experience with electrical, and/or hydraulic systems.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical repair tasks safely.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and customer service.
• Ability to support customer by working overtime, when necessary.
• As needed, provide basic tools (company policies apply).
