Altec Industries, Inc. is seeking a qualified field/mobility service technician to support repair and maintenance of heavy equipment across the U.S. and Canada.

The role emphasizes hands-on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical work with a strong safety culture and customer-focused service mindset. Ideal candidates have experience with aerial devices and construction equipment, are willing to travel, and can work overtime.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, state-approved equivalency, or GED.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Physical ability to move objects up to 75 pounds and frequent bending.
• Dexterity and hands-on mechanical aptitude.
• Develop basic computer skills with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Commitment to safety in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Replace electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Use manuals and support resources to troubleshoot, determine procedures and identify parts.
• Perform Unit Condition Inspections and Reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Comply with Altec Safety practices and procedures.
• Inform supervisors of situations impacting customer relationships.
• Provide accurate and complete information on required documents.
• Demonstrate Altec Company Values.
• All other duties as assigned.
