Job summary

Altec is seeking a career-minded equipment mechanic to service and repair aerial devices, digger derricks, cranes, and related equipment across the U.S. and Canada. You will perform component replacements, diagnostics, and inspections, while following safety practices and documenting work.

Overtime opportunities and a strong, support-driven team are available. Experience with heavy equipment, solid mechanical/electrical knowledge, and customer-service skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy equipment or service/repair work.
• Strong mechanical, electrical or hydraulic systems aptitude.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Replace electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components as needed.
• Troubleshoot using manuals and resources to identify parts and procedures.
• Perform Unit Condition Inspections and Reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Follow Altec Safety practices and procedures in all tasks.
• Assist supervisors to protect customer relationships and document work.
