Altec Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled technician in the United States to support aerial devices, digger derricks, and other heavy equipment. The role involves electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical component replacements, with training and a focus on safety.

Openings exist across the U.S. and Canada with a competitive hourly rate. Overtime may be available, and a comprehensive benefits package accompanies the position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills required.
• Physical ability to move objects up to 75 pounds and perform repeated bending, stooping, and kneeling.
• Basic tools may be provided by Altec per policy; ability to drive motor vehicles.
• Develop basic computer skills with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform replacement of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.
• Utilize technical support resources to troubleshoot, determine procedures, and identify parts needed for repair.
• Perform Unit Condition Inspections and Reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area.
• Adhere to Altec Safety practices and procedures and inform supervisors of issues affecting customer relationships.
• Provide accurate information on required documents and demonstrate Altec Company Values.
• All other duties as assigned.
