Altec Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled equipment mechanic to perform replacement and repairs on electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components across a range of heavy equipment.

You will leverage manuals and support resources to troubleshoot, identify parts, and complete unit condition inspections. The role requires strong customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills, and the ability to work safely in a dynamic field environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills required.
• Ability to move and maneuver items up to 75 pounds and maintain dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Replace electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components on equipment.
• Use manuals and technical resources to troubleshoot and identify parts needed for repair.
• Perform unit conditions inspections and prepare reports.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and adhere to safety practices.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
• Support overtime as needed and communicate with supervisors.
