Job summary

G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, Inc. is seeking an on-site General Service Worker to support equipment installation, delivery and removal at customer locations, ensuring safety, cleanliness and timely service per company standards.

Ideal candidates have 6–12 months of merchandising or sales/customer relations experience and 6–12 months of mechanical troubleshooting; a Class A CDL is required or can be obtained. Union benefits and a first-shift schedule accompany the role.

Qualifications

• 6–12 months of merchandising/sales/customer relations experience.
• 6–12 months of mechanical/equipment troubleshooting experience.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's license or ability to gain one.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and repairs equipment according to standards; ensures equipment is clean and operates correctly.
• Delivers and installs equipment at customer locations according to standards.
• Issues invoices and credits for events; reviews paperwork with customers.
• Adheres to OSHA and safety requirements; wears PPE.
• Communicates with customers and Pepsi management on issues regarding equipment and opportunities.
• Organizes the sales equipment warehouse; loads/unloads trucks; maintains a clean workspace.
