Job summary

PepsiCo in Allentown, PA is seeking a full‑time equipment technician to install, repair and maintain beverage equipment at customer locations. The role requires driving a CDL vehicle, physical work, and strong problem solving to keep Pepsi, Gatorade, and Aquafina flowing on schedule.

You will service vending, cooling, fountain, ice, and frozen beverage units, diagnose issues, install systems, and help meet service windows while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL License with Non-Excepted Interstate Status.
• EPA Section 608 Certification.
• Refrigeration Certification Type I/Type II (if applicable).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Repair and preventative maintenance on vending, cooling, fountain, ice, and frozen beverage equipment at customer accounts.
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine the best repair or replacement solution.
• Install equipment by routing lines, connecting product, water and gas supply, and ensuring proper drainage.
• Prioritize and schedule service calls to meet customer service windows.
• Educate customers on basic equipment upkeep and document each service call.
• Maintain parts inventory on the service truck and build relationships at each account.
