Job summary

Raymond West is seeking an Installation Technician to install and service customer equipment, following RW and OSHA safety guidelines. The technician will communicate effectively with customers, peers, and management while traveling within assigned territories.

Responsibilities include building/installing equipment, updating skills, training others, and maintaining documentation. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, field travel, and occasional overtime, with a company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Build and install all types of equipment that RW sells and services.
• Update training and skills on a continuing basis.
• Train other employees as needed.
• Follow all Storage & Automation Department procedures.
• Communicate with assigned Supervisor.
• Complete all service documentation in a timely, accurate fashion.
• Have the necessary tools to perform the Install
• Complete jobs within quoted time limits when applicable.
• Maintain a clean and orderly (inside and outside) vehicle.
• Represent the company favorably in all situations.
• Pass all available certifications appropriate to the position.
• Maintain good working knowledge of customers and equipment in assigned areas.
• Report all accidents promptly, regardless of fault.
• Must be willing to work overtime when necessary.
• Coordinate all overtime with the assigned supervisor.
• Must follow all procedures in the company’s Employee Handbook.
• Must follow safety procedures and use good judgment in regard to safety.
• Must be willing to work out of town as necessary.
• Establish a positive rapport with customers.
