Alpha Inc. is seeking a Field Equipment Coordinator in Hawaii to keep equipment ready and operations moving. This boots-on-the-ground role involves moving gear, coordinating access, and supporting maintenance and repairs.
You’ll work directly with the Equipment Manager and field teams, require a CDL Class A, and have 2–3+ years in heavy construction or related fields. It is a fast-paced, hands-on environment that values safety and reliability.
Description
If sitting behind a desk all day sounds miserable, keep reading.
Alpha Inc. is looking for a Field Equipment Coordinator who knows that equipment doesn’t magically show up where it needs to be, parts don’t deliver themselves, and downtime doesn’t fix itself.
This is a boots-on-the-ground, get-it-done role for someone who thrives on movement, responsibility, and solving the next problem before it becomes everybody’s problem.
One hour you might be checking equipment readiness. The next, you’re moving equipment or attachments, tracking down a critical part, supporting a PM, coordinating access for a repair, or making sure a crew has what it needs to keep working.
You’ll work directly with our Equipment Manager and alongside mechanics, operators, Superintendents, Project Managers, Dispatch, vendors, and field teams.
Your mission is simple: help keep Alpha’s equipment ready and our operations moving.
If you need every day to look exactly the same, this probably isn’t your job.
If you take pride in being the person people can count on to own the assignment, figure it out, and finish it safely, we should talk.
Alpha Inc. is a Hawai?i-grown company operating across construction, drilling, energy, and infrastructure. We tackle demanding work that helps build and support the communities we call home.
How we do that work matters just as much as the work itself.
Our three core values drive the way we show up:
Leading with Heart – Treat people with humility, empathy, respect, and care.
Strength in Unity – One crew, many talents. We communicate, collaborate, and win together.
Alpha Mentality – Bring grit, accountability, initiative, and the determination to finish what you start.
For the Field Equipment Coordinator, those aren't words on a wall. They meanwork safely, communicate clearly, help the crew, solve problems, and own your responsibilities through completion.
This role is about execution.
You’ll take assignments from the Equipment Manager and make sure they get handled safely, efficiently, and completely.
That includes:
Because at Alpha, “done” means done safely, communicated clearly, and followed through to completion.
We aren't looking for someone who waits around to be reminded what needs to happen.
We’re looking for someone who can get an assignment, understand the objective, establish priorities, communicate when something changes, and drive it across the finish line.
You’ll likely stand out if you:
Most importantly, people can count on you.
You do what you say you’ll do. You communicate when circumstances change. You respect the crew. You take care of the equipment entrusted to you. And when the day throws something unexpected at you, you find the safest, smartest way forward.
That’s Alpha Mentality.
Because you should be able to look back at your day and know your work mattered.
At Alpha Inc., the Equipment team helps keep the entire operation moving. When equipment is ready, transportation happens when it should, parts get where they're needed, and problems are handled quickly, our field teams can do what they do best.
You'll have the opportunity to work around serious equipment, challenging projects, and people who understand that execution is a team sport.
Bring the CDL.
Bring the work ethic.
Bring the ability to solve problems without creating three more.
We'll bring the opportunity to make an impact.
