Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an Environmental Technician for the North Slope, AK site on a rotational 14/14 schedule (12 hour days). The role focuses on managing compliance data and field environmental activities to support our energy projects.

You will gather and maintain data, assist with recordkeeping, QA, and audits, and perform field tasks such as emissions observations and leak detection surveys. 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong problem solving are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant environmental technician experience.
• Supports technical/administrative tasks.
• Familiar with systems, terminology, and procedures used in the department.

Responsibilities

• Identify, implement, and maintain systematic processes for compliance data.
• Collaborate to develop user-friendly information gathering/sharing systems.
• Manage data gathering, recordkeeping, quality assurance, and audits.
• Conduct field work such as emissions observations and leak surveys; verify equipment identity.
