Job summary

Fairweather, a Doyon company, is seeking an Environmental Technician II to support field environmental activities on the North Slope. You will identify, collect, and manage compliance data and help develop user-friendly information systems for gathering and sharing data.

The role involves fieldwork including visible emissions observations and leak surveys, with emphasis on data quality and adherence to regulations in remote Arctic environments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a related role.
• Provides technical/functional and/or administrative support.
• Working knowledge of department-specific systems and procedures.
• Able to solve problems and make basic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, implements, and maintains systematic processes to manage critical compliance data.
• Collaborates with other functions to develop and maintain user friendly systems for information gathering/sharing.
• Manages data gathering, compliance related recordkeeping, data quality assurance, auditing and other field compliance verification activities.
• Conducts field work such as visible emissions observations and leak detection surveys, confirms equipment identification and location.
