Job summary

GHD is seeking a Field Environmental/Scientist/Engineer to deliver full-time field environmental compliance monitoring for a major mine infrastructure project in Idaho. The role is 14 days on-site, 7 days off, with 10-12 hour shifts, on-site housing, meals, and per diem.

Visa sponsorship is not available. You will work with the construction team to ensure environmental permits and client standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, environmental science, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 3 years of technical experience in environmental compliance, construction monitoring, or related programs.
• Ability to work 14 days on site, 7 days off in Idaho.

Responsibilities

• Lead field environmental monitoring and ensure compliance with permits and regulations.
• Coordinate dust control, stormwater, water quality monitoring, and site reporting.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and safety staff to uphold safety and environmental standards.
