Clean Harbors in Irving, TX is seeking an Environmental Field Chemist (CDL) to handle, segregate, pack, and inspect chemical waste at customer sites. This is a customer-facing role with duties at plants, labs, and facilities across the country. Entry-level with strong growth potential in Environmental Services.

The position requires a CDL Class B with hazmat/tanker endorsement within 6 months, valid driver's license, and solid customer service. Comprehensive benefits and training are provided.

Formación

• CDL Class B endorsement required within 6 months of employment.
• Strong customer service skills are essential.
• Valid driver’s license is required for this role.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure Health and Safety is the priority by following all safe work practices and policies.
• Prepare computer generated packing lists, labels, manifest, and land disposal restriction notifications.
• Inspect staging, accumulating and storage areas to ensure proper housekeeping and compliance.
• Inspect drums for leaks, spills, and labeling compliance.
• Collect, segregate, and properly package waste chemicals for disposal.
• Execute jobs at Clean Harbors customer locations, including Fortune 500 companies.
• Prepare and approve projects before shipment in line with OSHA, EPA, DOT and company policies.
• Conduct projects according to site-specific Federal, State, and local regulations and health and safety plans.

Conocimientos
