Job summary

NSB Omega is seeking a Field Engineering Technologist - Mechanical/Civil in Lima, OH to support safe and effective execution of major projects. You will coordinate field activities, verify contractor performance, and maintain accurate project documentation while interfacing with field teams, engineering, contractors, and project leadership.

The role emphasizes verification, coordination, and escalation to enable timely, compliant delivery, without ownership of budgets or final approvals.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field.
6-8 years of experience supporting major construction projects.
Strong understanding of construction field practices and safety requirements.
Experience working with contractors and multi disciplinary teams.
Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
Comfortable working in active field environments.

Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day field activities under the direction of the Construction Manager.
Coordinate contractor activities through Field Supervisors to align with schedules and work plans.
Participate in site walkdowns, lead construction and progress meetings.
Verify field progress against drawings, specs, and work packages.
Identify execution risks and elevate issues proactively.
