Job summary

NES Fircroft seeks an experienced Field Engineering Technologist for our US Major Projects in Lima, OH. You will coordinate field activities, verify contractor performance, and maintain precise documentation, interfacing with field teams, engineering, contractors, and project leadership to ensure work meets approved plans and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field.
• 6-8 years of experience supporting major construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction field practices and safety requirements.
• Experience working with contractors and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working in active field environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate field activities under direction of the Construction Manager.
• Coordinate contractor activities with Field Supervisors to align with schedules and plans.
• Lead site walk downs, progress meetings, and verify field progress against drawings and specs.
• Identify execution risks and escalate issues proactively.
• Support site safety programs and contractor safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate field documentation: daily reports, quantities, and inspections.
