The State of North Carolina Department of Transportation is seeking an Engineering Technician I (S) to support highway construction projects, inspections, surveying, sampling and testing. You will assist higher level technicians and engineers and handle data entry and record keeping under varying field conditions.

Qualifications include an Associate’s degree in civil engineering technology or related field and willingness to obtain certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent in civil engineering technology or related field.
• Experience in surveying, testing, or inspection preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays.
