Job summary

Applied Technical Services, LLC (ATS) Houston office in Conroe, TX is seeking an Engineering Technician. The role involves inspections, testing, installation, and retrofits of building access and fall protection systems on commercial and industrial facilities.

You will work with project managers and engineers, perform load testing, and support field operations across Houston, with occasional out-of-state travel. A strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on tool experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Hands-on experience with common hand and power tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Team player with ability to work in field environments.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist inspections of fall protection and building access equipment.
• Perform field testing and load testing of roof anchors and davit systems.
• Assist with installation, repair, and retrofit projects.
• Operate hand and power tools during installations.
• Maintain accurate field notes and assist with inspection reports.
• Travel to project sites as needed.
