Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in San Diego, CA, is seeking a Field Engineering Manager 2 to lead our Operations team supporting the BACN program at field sites. You will manage ~15 field engineers and split time between leadership and program contributions.

The role requires extensive leadership, strong communication, and a proven ability to coordinate cross-location activities. A Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance required
• U.S. citizen required
• Experience with military communications systems and tactical data links

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead Operations team for BACN program at field sites.
• Lead a team of ~15 field engineers; balance management and project work.
• Travel up to 25% to OCONUS and CONUS locations.
• Oversight of cost, schedule, and mission quality for field execution.
