Job summary

RES seeks an Intern or Co-op Intern in Texas to support Field Engineers and shadow operations across active projects. This role offers hands-on experience with day-to-day field engineering tasks and unique project assignments, with travel permitted to locations as needed.

Qualified candidates must be 18+ and US citizens, with a BS in construction or related engineering field in progress. Expected 8-month co-op with base salary of $20–$23 per hour.

Qualifications

• Working toward a BS in Construction Management or Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) required.
• Ability to adopt and navigate new software systems to support project needs.
• Must be able to travel 76-100% of the time.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• An Intern or Co-op Intern will typically support one or more experienced Field Engineers in the performance of their assignments, spend time shadowing actual operations, and have unique assignments that support larger projects as well as experience the day-to-day workings of Field Engineering.
• Attends project meetings, takes minutes and distributes to Project Management Team for review and distribution to full project team, including Client as required.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and supervisors.
• Assists team in resolution of field-level technical issues.
