Job summary

RES seeks an Intern or Co-op Intern to support Field Engineers by shadowing operations and taking on tasks that contribute to ongoing projects. This role offers exposure to day-to-day field engineering activities and larger project assignments, with a focus on safety, documentation, and professional growth.

Co-ops typically run 8 months; candidates must be 18+ and US citizens. The role requires willingness to travel extensively and a valid driver’s license, with base pay quoted as an hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in construction management or civil, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• Construction experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel 76-100%.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety walks to reinforce safe behaviors and correct unsafe actions.
• Assist with verification that field installations are per engineered IFC drawings.
• Assist with maintenance and updates to project documentation, utilizing SharePoint, Procore, or Client systems.
• Assist in updating and tracking project tools (RFI, SWI, POD, and material tracking).
• Assist team in resolution of field-level technical issues.
• Attend project meetings and communicate with the Project Management Team and Client as required.
• Collaborate effectively with peers and supervisors on safety and quality.
