Job summary

DEPCOM Power, Inc is seeking a Field Engineer to support field execution on utility-scale solar and energy infrastructure projects across the United States, including Harrodsburg, KY. This role links engineering, construction, quality, and project management to ensure safe, efficient delivery in line with design.

The position requires field orientation, problem-solving, and collaboration across disciplines.

Qualifications

Associate's degree or higher in engineering or related technical discipline.
Experience creating reports and maintaining project documentation.
Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Team-oriented with problem-solving in field environments.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with construction teams, engineering partners, subcontractors, owners, and regulators to support project execution and resolve field issues.
Partner with Quality, Construction, and Engineering teams to support FAIs and verify work per drawings and specs.
Manage engineering and construction documentation, including redlines, as-builts, field reports, inspection records, turnover packages.
Generate and track RFIs to minimize schedule impacts.
Review material submittals and documentation for project compliance.
Identify and mitigate construction risks through proactive coordination.
Coordinate inspections and approvals with AHJs and utility reps.
Utilize drones to monitor progress and document site conditions.
Collaborate to improve consistency and project outcomes.
