DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Field Engineer to support utility-scale solar and energy infrastructure projects across the United States. This field role links engineering, construction, quality, and project management to ensure safe, efficient, and design-compliant execution.

The position emphasizes field problem-solving, cross-discipline collaboration, and direct contribution to large renewable energy deliverables, with travel and per diem as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Experience supporting construction, engineering, quality, project management, or field operations.
• Experience meeting deadlines and managing priorities.
• Experience collaborating in a team to support project goals.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with construction teams, engineering partners, subcontractors, owners, and regulators to support project execution and resolve field issues.
• Support First Article Inspections (FAIs) and verify work per engineering drawings and specs; manage documentation.
• Generate, track, and facilitate RFIs between project stakeholders to minimize schedule impacts.
• Review submittals and construction documentation for project compliance.
• Identify and mitigate construction risks and execution challenges through proactive coordination.
• Maintain visibility into subcontractors and self-perform scope execution to drive quality and safety.
• Coordinate inspections and approvals with AHJs, utility reps, and stakeholders.
• Use drones to monitor construction progress and document site conditions.
• Collaborate to improve consistency and outcomes across the jobsite.
