Job summary

Leidos is seeking a highly qualified Field Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to support all-domain weapon systems and JADC2 efforts. The role requires extensive travel (75%), site surveys, and hands-on deployment of secure IT and networked systems.

You will collaborate with program managers, engineers, and government counterparts, ensuring configurations meet stringent security and operational requirements. On-site and field activities are a core part of the job.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant field engineering experience (or master’s with 6-10 years).
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Willingness to travel to onsite installations (75% travel).
• Experience with AWS, Networking, VPNs, IaaS, PaaS, SQL, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, Guacamole.

Responsibilities

• Travel within CONUS and OCONUS with short notice.
• Conduct site surveys, installations, configurations, and acceptance procedures.
• Interact with site POCs to support fielded equipment and engage with stakeholders.
• Prepare documentation and run reports for engagements.
• Review Jira tasks, provide updates, and participate in Scrum activities.
• Collaborate with program members on cross-project tasks.
