Our Field Engineer provides detailed survey and layout support to project teams, ensuring the efficient, successful, and profitable completion of construction projects.

DUTIES & SCOPE:

• Laying out hanger points, penetrations for sleeves, pads, equipment, etc.
• Operate the total station machine for project layout, including setup, calibration, and transport.
• Acquire and collect accurate control points; perform QA/QC to ensure all layout points are marked and collected.
• Field data collection, verifying horizontal and vertical controls.
• Manage building schedules related to concrete pours and layout operations.
• Survey work includes shooting points for electrical boxes, sleeves on slabs, and other installations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency with Topcon, Sokkia, Trimble, or similar equipment.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, Magnet Field Layout software.
• Ability to perform As-Built verification and read/interprete construction drawings.
• Management skills for supervising in-house surveyors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in producing shop drawings in Autodesk Revit is a plus.
• FAA Part 107 license is a plus.

The annual base pay ranges from USD $60,000 to $130,000, depending on factors such as location, experience, and skills. The role may be eligible for bonuses and benefits.
