Job description

What's the role?

This position provides technical support and drives sales (buying and non-buying) aligned with Hilti's strategy. It involves educating design communities on proper use and benefits of Hilti products, securing specifications or approvals, and assisting in solving design problems using Hilti solutions. The role also includes leadership and coaching responsibilities.

Approximately 40% travel is required, including visits to Nevada & Utah, client meetings, or other business activities. Flexibility and willingness to travel are essential.

What does the role involve?
  • Engaging with sales teams, contractors, designers, and officials via various communication methods
  • Providing technically accurate written communication to customers
  • Visiting jobsites and offices to assess applications and provide technical education
  • Investigating product failures and providing feedback
  • Participating in customer surveys and sales strategy development
  • Securing specifications and approvals, especially with high-potential design groups
  • Conducting educational seminars and presentations for A/E firms
  • Recommending technical applications to engineers and architects
  • Performing field testing for untested situations
  • Reviewing project specifications and providing feedback
  • Maintaining records in CRM systems and coordinating with sales teams
  • Building relationships with design and construction communities and local agencies
What do we offer?

Competitive salary, bonus potential, comprehensive benefits including paid time off, health coverage, 401(k) matching, educational reimbursement, and more. The salary range is estimated between $82,000 and $97,000 plus a target bonus of $16,200, depending on experience and location.

What you need is:
  • Bachelor's in Architectural, Civil, or Structural Engineering; Master's preferred
  • Knowledge of construction methods preferred
  • Minimum 2 years in engineering/construction roles preferred
  • Sales experience is beneficial
