Storage Building Company is seeking a motivated Field Engineer / Assistant Superintendent to join our field operations team. This hands-on development position is designed for an early-career construction professional who wants to grow into a Superintendent role and build a long-term career in field operations.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, comfortable in the field, and ready to take on increasing responsibilities while working with experienced Superintendents and Area Managers on

Responsibilities

Assist the Superintendent with the day-to-day management of construction projects.
Learn and understand project plans, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Assist with coordinating subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and site activities.
Monitor project progress and communicate updates to the Superintendent and Area Manager.
Assist with maintaining project schedules and identifying potential delays or issues.
Conduct regular site walks to monitor work progress, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
Assist with material tracking, inventory, and delivery coordination.
Help identify field conflicts, discrepancies, and potential construction issues.
Assist with documenting field conditions and communicating issues to the appropriate team members.
Complete daily reports, project documentation, photographs, and other required field records.
