Job summary

Storage Building Company is seeking a motivated Field Engineer / Assistant Superintendent to join our field operations team. This is a hands-on development position designed for an early-career construction professional who wants to build a long-term career in field operations and grow into a Superintendent role.

The candidate will travel regularly to active construction sites across multiple states, work alongside experienced Superintendents, gain experience in safety, scheduling, quality

Qualifications

Experience or education in construction field operations.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
Willingness to travel to active projects across states.

Responsibilities

Assist the Superintendent with day-to-day management of projects.
Learn project plans, specs, and construction documents.
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and site activities.
Monitor progress and report updates to leadership.
Maintain schedules and identify delays or issues.
Conduct regular site walks for quality and safety.
Document field conditions and daily reports.
Support field documentation and photos.
