Job summary

PCL Solar Constructors USA Inc. in Camden, Ohio, is seeking a Project Engineer to support on-site execution across solar projects. The role involves coordinating trades, managing submittals and documentation, and ensuring quality and safety standards.

Travel to project sites is required, with potential assignments in various states. Strong communication and scheduling skills are essential for meeting project milestones and client expectations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years construction experience in an operational role.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or related field.
• Understanding of HSE, quality and building materials as per field requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contract with select trade partners and supervise progress.
• Participate in change management, pricing and time impact assessments.
• Maintain project documentation control and RFIs/submittals process.
• Collaborate with project team lead on design coordination and submittals.
• Coordinate with PM and superintendent on cost, schedule and quality.
• Prepare and supervise progress claims and estimates.
• Coordinate inventory and expediting material orders.
• Assist with site inspections and ensure code compliance.
