Job summary

CoVolt Power seeks a recent graduate for field-based support on solar energy construction sites across the United States. The FE role partners with Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Superintendents to help execute site work from preconstruction through client acceptance.

Based at project sites with relocation for the length of each project, you will assist with safety, quality, and coordination, while developing hands-on skills in civil and electrical work and learning to read IFC

Qualifications

• Recent grad or working toward bachelor's degree with graduation date no later than June 2027.
• Previous internship in construction, engineering or renewable energy preferred.
• Basic knowledge of project management phases and administration.
• Basic knowledge of safety and security issues/regulations in construction.
• Excellent math skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply IFC drawings and job specs for civil/electrical work.
• Strong coordination, time management, active listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Acumatica, MS Project and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents on all construction aspects of solar projects for an assigned scope.
• Prioritize safety, quality, stewardship, leadership visibility and communication.
• Resolve issues through face-to-face and personal communication.
• Coordinate activities of project execution with oversight from the Superintendent.
• Support project administration to ensure work aligns with design, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate supplier and subcontractor progress on the project.
• Support RFI and Submittal process for the scope of work.
• Include contract administration, schedule management, reports, non-conformance investigations and corrective actions.
