Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to support and execute project construction across US sites. The role collaborates with Project Engineers, Managers and Superintendents, and requires relocation to project sites for the project duration.

Responsibilities include assisting on all construction aspects, coordinating with the project team, and supporting RFI/Submittal processes while ensuring safety, quality and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field preferred; equivalent combination of relevant construction/engineering, renewable energy will be considered.
• Basic knowledge of project management phases and related processes.
• Familiarity with IFC drawings and project specifications for civil/electrical work.
• Strong coordination, time management, listening, verbal and written communication.
• Proficient computer skills including Acumatica, MS Project and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendents on all construction aspects for an assigned scope.
• Partner with project team to prioritize safety, quality, and communication.
• Resolve issues through face-to-face communication and collaboration.
• Coordinate activities for project execution under supervision.
• Support project administration to meet design, budget and schedule.
• Coordinate supplier and subcontractor progress on the project.
• Support RFI and Submittal processes for the scope.
• Handle contract administration, schedule management, data reporting, and safety/quality control.
