Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors is seeking a Field Engineer for a semiconductor manufacturing plant in Hillsboro, Oregon. In this entry-level role you will plan, schedule, and execute project scopes, coordinating with field labor to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and adherence to Harder's quality standards.

You will review drawings, develop scope and quantities, track progress weekly, and maintain project records.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office & Bluebeam with Excel proficiency.
• Ability to communicate with a broad spectrum of people including suppliers, field crews, designers, and owners.
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Industrial, Civil Engineering and/or equivalent experience or education.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute the assigned project scope.
• Coordinate with field labor to ensure safety, schedule and quality standards.
• Review construction drawings and compile project scope and quantities.
• Monitor field construction and track progress weekly.
• Prepare work packages, including labor and cost estimates.
