Job summary

Harder Mechanical Contractors is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer to join our Advanced Technology sector on a semiconductor jobsite. You will plan, schedule, and execute a defined project scope, coordinating with field labor to ensure safety, on-schedule delivery, and adherence to quality standards.

This role serves as the entry point for a project management career at Harder. You will review drawings, estimate labor and costs, track progress weekly, and maintain project records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Civil Eng or related field; internship experience preferred.
• Previous internship in construction or engineering.
• Willingness to travel to other regions for exposure to markets and industries.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and execute an assigned project scope.
• Coordinate with field labor to ensure safe, on-time completion and quality standards.
• Support project management career progression through hands-on tasks.
• Review drawings, prepare scope and quantities.
• Assist in documenting project records and cost estimates.
• Track progress and update status weekly; maintain document control.
