Job summary

Con Edison seeks an Engineer to lead the design, development and implementation of microprocessor relay upgrade projects. The role requires travel to field locations to assist personnel during outages and investigations, ensuring successful outages and restorations.

The engineer will perform bench testing on new relay upgrades while adhering to NERC CIP Cyber Security Standards, including password controls and configuration management during commissioning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
• Experience with protective relay systems and microprocessor-based relays is preferred.
• Knowledge of NERC CIP Cyber Security Standards is advantageous.
