Job summary

Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. (Con Edison) seeks a seasoned Project Manager to lead Protective Relay Strategy Implementation initiatives within the Central Engineering team.

You will oversee engineering design, safety, quality, and compliance for modernization projects, CORE software integration, and CAP implementations, guiding both internal and vendor resources. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and technical expertise in relay protection and control systems,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with 8+ years in relay protection and control systems or Master’s Degree with aMechanical? no, 6+ years in relay protection and control systems.
• Experience with Fiber Networks and/or Teleprotection Circuits is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project teams in planning and execution of engineering deliverables for P&C projects.
• Manage multiple complex projects with scope, budget, schedules and vendor proposals.
• Track, analyze, and report project performance metrics including scope, budget, and schedule.
• Attend field visits, field walks, and vendor meetings.
• Prepare technical reports and communications for senior leadership.
