Job summary

Fluid Quip Technologies in Cedar Rapids, IA seeks a Field Engineer to support construction projects and coordinate between the field, office, and client teams. You will manage schedules, review drawings, and help ensure timely execution of engineering packages across multiple client locations.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and willingness to travel up to 100% to client sites and project locations. Evening/weekend work may be needed to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, or 3+ years of construction-related engineering experience.
• Excellent communicator with internal and external customers/clients.
• Must be prepared to work evenings and weekends to meet project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Support construction projects.
• Maintain schedule commitments with engineering teams and equipment suppliers.
• Receive RFIs from contractors and coordinate with FQT experts to answer.
• Ensure QA/QC processes and proper document control.
• Main client contact on the jobsite and for contractors.
• Assist in system start-ups at client properties.
