Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Field Engineer based in our Miami, FL office to support PLCs and DCS systems across customer sites. You will join a team of customer support engineers, performing on-site installation, start-up, and operation of distributed control systems and sub-systems.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or related fields, experience with ControlWave SCADA, and willingness to travel up to 70–80% with 1–3 week site stays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Experience with ControlWave SCADA required.
• Willingness to travel up to ~70–80% and stay 1–3 weeks on-site.
• Valid US driver's license and ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation, start-up, and optimization of control systems.
• Direct the work of technicians during installation and modification.
• Offer engineering advisory support to customers and internal teams.
