Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Field Engineer to contribute to major power and energy projects across the United States. You will participate in field operations, scheduling, cost control, and safety programs while collaborating with a dynamic team on critical infrastructure.

Open to relocation and travel, you will support project controls, craft management, and safety efforts, ensuring quality and timely delivery on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in an engineering field or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Knowledge of safety standards and OSHA regulations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to build, estimate, and schedule mechanical, electrical, and heavy industrial projects.
• Prepare detailed work plans and project schedules.
• Manage costs, materials, and equipment logistics.
• Administer safety programs per policy.
• Foster relationships with owners and stakeholders.
• Review drawings/specs and prepare cost estimates.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with vendors.
