Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Field Engineer to contribute to power delivery and energy infrastructure projects across the United States. You will work on diverse assignments, collaborating with a capable team on design, construction, and commissioning.

The role requires willingness to relocate, travel as needed, and a solid grasp of safety standards. You’ll support project controls, field operations, and subcontractor coordination while advancing your engineering career with a company known for stability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering field.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Knowledge of construction safety and OSHA standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specs.
• Familiarity with scheduling and cost control techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with listed tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team to build, estimate, and schedule projects.
• Prepare detailed work plans and schedules for execution.
• Ensure quality control, manage costs, and coordinate material logistics.
• Administer safety programs per Kiewit's safety philosophy.
• Foster relationships with owners and stakeholders.
• Support administration and field ops: review drawings, takeoffs, cost estimates.
• Supervise subcontractors and coordinate with vendors.
