GARNEY CONSTRUCTION

A Field Engineer position is available in Denver, CO.In this position, you will act as the glue that unites the team by translating the information between the office engineers and the team that is making the project come to life out on the field. Field Engineers know what is happening out on the field and have the ability to fill the gaps and support the team to ensure success and efficiency.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You will be on the field day-to-day, ensuring that the work being done by our team and subcontractors meet engineering specifications. Other duties may include handling important documents and ensuring that the correct materials are being received and stored correctly.

Examples of daily tasks:

• Surveying and construction lay-out (Total Station and GPS)


• Processing and reviewing shop drawings


• Maintaining as-built documents


• Auditing completed construction


• Ensuring quality standards are being met


• Assisting in maintaining jobsite safety


• Coordinating subcontractor work

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field


• Proficient in MicroStation and/or AutoCad


• 1-5 years' experience
