Job summary

The Weitz Company is seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager for a Telluride, Colorado hospitality project. This onsite leadership role requires relocation for the duration of the project and entails directing the QC program on a premiere development.

You will coordinate inspections, manage testing and documentation, and lead a team of QC professionals to ensure safety and conformance to plans and specifications. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction, Civil, Architectural, Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering preferred; equivalent considered.
• 10+ years construction experience in roles such as QC Manager/PM/superintendent.
• 4+ years as a QC Manager.
• Experience in fast-paced environments and demonstrated leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the QC Program across the project.
• Identify and manage definable features of work (DFWs) and coordinate inspections.
• Oversee testing, third-party personnel, and documentation for QC.
• Utilize Procore/Bluebeam for quality documentation and reporting.
• Conduct weekly QC meetings with stakeholders and coordinate submittals and shop drawings review.
