Job summary

vdBA SecureOps seeks a Field Engineer to be the hands-on, in-person technical presence at client sites. You will set up, troubleshoot, and fix issues that cannot be resolved remotely, focusing on Meraki networking, Windows/Microsoft 365, and macOS support in a life sciences-oriented managed service environment.

Prior MSP experience with multiple clients is required, along with strong communication and professionalism.

Qualifications

Must come from an MSP with multi-client support experience.
Cisco Meraki networking hands-on experience is required.
Solid Windows endpoint and Microsoft 365 support experience.
Business environment macOS support, provisioning and troubleshooting.
On-site work with executives; strong professional presence.
Extremely strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with good time management across multiple clients.

Responsibilities

Serve as in-person technical presence at client sites with deskside support.
Handle on-site deployments, moves/adds/changes, and escalations.
Deploy and troubleshoot Meraki networking across environments.
Support Windows/Microsoft 365 and macOS endpoints; patching and security baselines.
Own Tier 1/2 tickets end to end and document in PSA; follow runbooks.
