Job summary

Rex Moore Electrical & Systems Contractors & Engineers is seeking a Director of Field Operations to lead all field activities, supervise Superintendents, and ensure projects meet time, budget, and safety targets. The role involves manpower planning, training development, and coordinating with recruiting to maintain skilled crews across multiple projects.

The position requires a strong leadership background in electrical/solar construction, with 10+ years of experience and PM experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years work experience in electrical and/or solar construction industry.
• Minimum 5 years project management experience.
• BS degree in engineering or other technical discipline is required.
• MBA and/or professional certifications (PE or PMP) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct field operations leadership and oversight of Superintendents.
• Forecast manpower needs and manage manpower allocations across projects.
• Oversee safety policies, training programs, and field quality control measures.
• Collaborate with Human Resources and recruitment to maintain staffing levels.
• Manage field training calendar, mentorship, and career development for personnel.
• Travel as required to project sites and reports to Vice President.
