Job summary

Ryan Companies US, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer Intern in Minneapolis, MN to assist superintendents with daily duties on-site. You will support document flow, scheduling, quality control and safety, developing hands-on coordination skills for project sites.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a B.Sc. in Construction Engineering/Management or related field, available for 3+ months, and able to work 40 hours per week. Strong reading of drawings and clear written communication will help you stand out.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering/Management or closely-related field.
• Within 18 months of graduating with a four-year degree.
• Able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term.

The Field Engineer Intern will assist superintendents with daily duties. Some things you can expect to do: Assisting with project document flow, scheduling, quality control, safety and other duties specific to the project. Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety. To be successful in this role, you must be: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering/Management or closely-related field. Within 18 months of graduating with a four-year degree. Able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term. You will really stand out if you: Possess the ability to read and understand contracts, specifications and architectural and engineering drawings. Communicate clearly orally and in writing. Handle simultaneous priorities and deadlines and work towards job site efficiency.

Compensation

The hourly wage is $20-$25/hour . The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities.
