Ryan Companies Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer Intern to assist superintendents with daily duties and gain hands-on experience in field coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety.

You will pursue a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management and must be within 18 months of graduating with a four-year degree, and able to work 40 hours per week for a minimum three-month term. The role offers an opportunity to develop practical site skills.

The Field Engineer Intern will assist superintendents with daily duties. Some things you can expect to do: Assisting with project document flow, scheduling, quality control, safety and other duties specific to the project. Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination, scheduling, quality control and safety. To be successful in this role, you must be: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering/Management or closely-related field. Within 18 months of graduating with a four-year degree. Able to work 40 hours a week for at least a three-month term. You will really stand out if you: Possess the ability to read and understand contracts, specifications and architectural and engineering drawings. Communicate clearly orally and in writing. Handle simultaneous priorities and deadlines and work towards job site efficiency.

Compensation

The hourly wage is $20-$25/hour . The hourly rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities.
