This hands-on opportunity supports large-scale projects, working alongside seasoned professionals in the field across coordination, technical reviews, safety monitoring, and stakeholder communication.

The internship offers exposure to project layout, submittal reviews, procurement, and contract administration, with mentoring from experienced teams to help grow in civil construction careers.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies.
• Pursuing a degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• Desire to grow and develop a career and mentor other coworkers.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Instill Safety as a top priority.
• Support a team of construction coworkers.
• Build relationships and communicate with coworkers, owners, design partners, and subcontractors.
• Review and draft technical submittals such as schedules, shop drawings, work plans, etc.
• Monitoring quality control, safety, and environmental programs.
• Understand and assist with project layout.
• Identify critical work items and procure long-lead items.
• Assist with contract administration, including budget and change procedures.
• Assist with material procurement, including logistics.
• Work together to resolve field problems and conflicts with subcontractors, suppliers, and the workforce.
• Maintaining as-built drawings & manuals.
