Ryan Companies US, Inc. seeks an entry-level Field Engineer to support the project team under supervision. You will learn field and office operations and see how they relate to building construction.

Responsibilities include shop drawing coordination, estimating, material procurement, inventory, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination while gaining exposure to billing processes. 4-year construction degree preferred; relocation assistance may apply.

Qualifications

• Degree required: 4-year college degree, preferably in construction-related field.
• Strong ability to coordinate shop drawings and estimates.
• Willingness to support office and field teams on project tasks.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Shop drawing coordination.
• Office/field support staff.
• Estimating and quantity take off.
• Purchase necessary materials to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain material and equipment inventory at project site.
• Schedule monitoring and updating.
• Monitor assigned subcontracts, subcontractor schedules relative to material deliveries and subcontractor manpower.
• Significant involvement in preparing billings and reviewing invoices.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.
