Job summary

Ryan Companies is seeking a Field Engineer Intern to support superintendents on-site in a hands-on learning role. You will assist with document flow, scheduling, quality control, and safety while gaining exposure to job-site coordination and day-to-day site operations.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management, available for 40 hours per week for at least three months, and able to read contracts and drawings.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering/Management or closely-related field.
• Available to work 40 hours/week for at least a three-month term.
• Ability to read contracts, specifications and architectural/engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist superintendents with project document flow, scheduling and quality control.
• Support safety efforts and daily site activities on the project.
• Develop a first-hand understanding of job-site coordination and scheduling.
• Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors.
