Ryan Companies US, Inc. in Des Moines, IA is seeking an entry-level Field Engineer who will assist the project team under the Superintendent, and gain hands-on experience in field and office operations related to construction.

You will coordinate shop drawings, support office and field staff, help with estimating and quantity takeoffs, purchase materials, monitor schedules, and assist with billings and invoices as directed.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree required, preferably in construction related field.
• Ability to assume responsibility and interface with team.

Responsibilities

• Shop drawing coordination.
• Office/field support staff.
• Estimating and quantity take off.
• Purchase necessary materials to complete assigned tasks.
• Maintain material and equipment inventory at project site.
• Schedule monitoring and updating.
• Monitor subcontractor schedules relative to material deliveries and manpower.
• Assist in preparing billings and reviewing invoices.
• Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.

Education

Bachelor's degree in construction related field
