Kiewit’s Northern California District, headquartered in Fairfield, CA, is seeking an Entry Level Field Engineer to help deliver infrastructure projects in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

You’ll work with seasoned professionals on precast and field operations, coordinating materials, schedules, and site activities as projects demand relocation across California. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and rigorous problem solving.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related degree.
• Willingness to travel and relocate as needed.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specifications for craft and field personnel.
• Coordinate material deliveries and production schedules.
• Support the superintendent with pile production, loadout activities, and day-to-day operations.
• Attend daily production meetings and document key discussions and action items.
• Assist with change orders and bid package costing as needed.
